Jean-Pierre LABONNE

Born in 1956, Jean-Pierre discovered the world of metal recycling by chance in 1980 with only his French baccalaureate in hand, some training at La CNAM and the CJD. He spent twenty-five years working at global leader “La Compagnie Française des Ferrailles – Derichebourg”, where he has experienced every facet of the scrap metal industry. He eventually became Deputy Managing Director. In 2008, Jean-Pierre joined Dominique MAGUIN at CMP as the Head of Ferrous and non-Ferrous activities. On behalf of CMP, he lead the consultancy services provided to CARECO France SA and even stepped in as Deputy CEO of the company for two years. Thanks to his various experience in car dismantling and depollution, Jean-Pierre is recognized as one of the best French experts. Since the end of 2017 he has become an Independent Consultant and continues to work with CMP and CARECO.
